Marketing Tactics for Small Budget

Marketing for small budget.

The reality is you have to spend money to make money, that’s certainly true of marketing. But what should you invest in growing your business?

High-budget marketing strategies might bring more visibility and consistency in their eventual returns, but there are plenty of highly effective and cost effective marketing strategies that you can adapt to help your business grow.

Marketing on a small budget is possible, you just need to be strategic on what you spend on. Try out these tactics if you are on a small budget:

  • Publish content

According to Wordpress, every month more than 409 million people read over 23.7 billion blog posts on its platform.

Publishing great content is easy and you can do it yourself. Even if you are not a great writer you can come up with easy blog topics.

And if you are already at capacity with your time and want the most effective way to generate high quality content, then the answer lies in hiring an expert professional.

Content is the foundation of a few other tactics, so get started today.

  • Create videos

Nearly 80% of global internet traffic will be video, by 2021.

Videos help businesses increase conversion rates and click through rates.

Companies which use videos in their marketing strategies have 27% higher click through rates and 34% increase in conversion rates than those who don’t.

If you aren’t currently using video content as a marketing tactic, you need to start right away.

We recommend uploading all your videos to youtube first. Then, you can embed the videos to your website and your social media channels and even share them in your Email subscription list.

  • Stay active on Social Media

Start by establishing profiles of your business on major platforms like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram. Start syndicating content that your audience would like.

In our opinion, Instagram is one of the best social media channels for marketing your business. Instagram has 1 billion active users accessing the platform every month, 50% of those are scrolling through their feed each day. That’s a pretty big audience to put your business in front of. LinkedIn is one of the social media channels that is often under utilized. LinkedIn is a great place to promote your content, share ideas and build your brand. LinkedIn allows you to connect and engage with other professionals.

  • Use Infographics

Only 16% of people read content word for word as visuals are much more appealing and easier to comprehend.

Infographics being visually attractive, the chances of them being shared on social networks and becoming viral is much higher than ordinary text content.

Just make sure all of the data from your infographics is accurate and up to date.
